Billy Carden

I knew Billy Carden for many years, for he was my cousin and friend. In 1978 or early 1979, I contracted with Billy to insulate my attic with blown in insulation. While the men were doing the job, Billy told me how he came about getting into the insulation business.

He said that he had terminal cancer, and had been lying around on the couch waiting to die. So, one day he got up off the couch and told "Winkie" that he was going to Montgomery to buy that insulation truck. So, that is how he started a good business. He also lived until 1995.
